The sands of time.

Day 3 of the 7 day blogging challenge at Write Tribe.

Today’s rule could actually be called a panacea for all our maladies.

                                                                   TIME.

The only thing that heals not only our physical, but also our emotional wounds, like no other medicine!

Time heals almost everything. Give it time.

How often have we been advised by our elders to just give things time to work out? Our problems, our stress, our sorrow – we are so bogged down by it all.  We are left reeling under tremendous pressure, worried if the phase will ever come to an end. It’s times like these, when we completely forget that this too shall pass!

Times – they keep changing.  Every night comes to end and we are blessed with  a brand new day. Every storm passes by and the skies clear, bringing the vigour and vitality of the bright sunlight to  nourish our weather-beaten souls. Every minute that passes by, takes us further away from our grief and our troubles.

Yet, I think, not all of us have faith in time. We somehow don’t trust it as much as we should. Maybe, our belief system isn’t as strong, else we would be having a much better relationship with Father Time!  The problems we face today – do they even seem half as taxing after an year, or even a month? The severity of our problems subsides with time.

Putting all  our trust in the gentle hands of time will definitely help us breeze past those moments of distress, won’t it?  Of course, patience is paramount. Without patience in tow, belief in time is of no use whatsoever! Know, that these tough times, too, shall change  in perfect time, and that all the trauma that we go through, will be a thing of the past.

     Have faith! Stay blessed!

Here are a  couple of quotes I would like to share to reiterate my sentiments..

  1. Time has its own therapeutic effect. Once we are determined to move forward the scars and pain diminish with time even if they may not be erased. A thoughtful and thought provoking post!!
