Women at work. #WordlessWednesday

Women at work

Meet Mrs. Chitra Patil, the quintessential fisherwoman of Mumbai. A trademark of this city, perhaps! Busy all day selling her catch and managing the business single-handedly.

No words are needed to speak about Β the confidence of this woman, really. The picture says it all!

She is my Hero!

  1. She indeed is a true blue “Hero”. Every time I go to Goa I visit the beaches early morning and I’m at awe with the fisherwoman who leads all the fishermen for the day’s catch-this is at the Betalbatim beach. All in a day’s catch, all in her day’s sweat and hard.
A very unique shot indeed Shipa. Loved the concept. Thank you for linking up with #WordlessWednesday. πŸ™‚

  2. This is a super pic! I love the unflinching spirit of this lady who represents the countless other unknown heroes we all see everyday around us! I love the “fresh fare” that she is presenting too. πŸ™‚ I can also tell they will all be gone before the day is over. More power to our kind. Thank you so much for linking up with us for #WW, Shilpa! Looking forward to more such from you.
