Isn’t it? Those are the lines that first came to mind when I looked at this picture myself! 🙂

I am curious to know where you clicked this? My wild guess is Matheran.

Thank you Ana! Yes, it’s only when the heat tortures us that we realise the importance of trees!

No, Parul. It’s Mahabaleshwar – a hill station situated in Maharashtra. I would love to visit Kerala someday! 🙂

I so wish we had more such places in our cities, Vini. The concrete jungles are eating up all the green spaces!
Sigh.

This place is so lovely.I would love to go for a walk here. Never been to Mahabaleshwar, but now seeing this pic I feel I will love it. Places like this—particularly the woods have always held a special place in my life because I literally grew up walking in these places when we lived in Kohima and now that I’m living in a buzzing city, I feel claustrophobic although the park next door is a life saver for me. Thank you so much for joining in this week with your #wordlesswednesday post, Shilpa. Look forward to more such in the coming weeks. 🙂

Esha, if you have a park in your neighbourhood, you ought to consider yourself blessed! We find tree lined streets here, but no parks with canopies that give us the coolness we so crave in our cities!
It was a pleasure participating in Wordless Wednesday, Esha. I look forward to doing this every week. Just need to click more such pictures that speak more than I could ever express myself! 🙂

This is pathway is the perfect place to go for an idyllic walk. It reminded me a bit of Havelock’s Barefoot resort which had a similar pathway, but with trees as tall as 40-50 feet towering above us!!!! It was closest one could get to nature and the thicket of forest cover was so intense that one could barely see any birds.
Those lines by Robert Frost are our favourite, ain’t they Shilpa? We all grew up motivated by their depth.
Thank you for linking up with Esha and me for #WordlessWednesday. #Gratitude

The place you mention seems so inviting, Natasha! But, that’s the magic of nature, isn’t it? Always so inviting, so inspiring and so calming!
Thank you for this interesting bloghop!
