My dear blogger friends (old and new),
It was in December of 2013 that I began blogging. I did not know anyone of you back then. Heck, I did not know the first thing about blogging, back then!
But, it was over time that I discovered all you talented people. Not only talented, but also down-to-earth and very helpful. A fact that took me by surprise, really. I was under the impression that blogging was a competitive field (it actually is!), like any other field, and, was teeming with snobs! Hehehe!
But, I was pleasantly surprised to meet some really wonderful people who readily help out newbie bloggers, like me!
Reading your posts taught me a lot, just like you learn a lot by observing an expert at work! So, my advice to the newbie bloggers would be to visit as many blogs, read as many posts and learn from them. Try and connect with them. You never know, you might make a friend for life!
The online world does come across as a treacherous place, but, believe me, there are some very kind souls here. All you need is some time and some getting-to-know-them-better and you will have a tribe of your own — a circle of close friends who will guide you, support you, come what may.
However, not all’s hunky-dory here! There are quite a few, ahem, “difficult” kinda people here, too, so, watch your step and be careful.
I know I am quite partial to some bloggers. Well, why not? They are some of my good friends and they mean a lot to me.
I met a few of them in the real world, too. And, I only hope I meet the rest some day.
So, dear ones, you guys have taught me so much, helped me, guided me when I needed your assistance — still do!
I love you all and it’s been a pleasure knowing you all. Oh, and a big thank you for everything!
If we aren’t able to meet in the real world, know that you hold a special place in my heart and that I look up to you all!

Oh my.. Even I don’t exist in your friend list.. Sobbing.. Imagine me that way.. But still it’s OK. We have time to gel and connect to each other. I still remember as I started my blog, the first two friends I made was you and Sonia.. Open letter was a way too open.

Deepa, please don’t take to heart. It’s just that, except for Sonia, the others have been friends since almost 3 to 4 years now, and we have bonded very well. But, it’s been a pleasure meeting you, too. I hope to meet you, too, some day, and connect offline. ❤
